"The Kite Runner"

Sincerity in story telling is not writing the events as it is but writing ego less. This is very important when it is told in 'first person' The very factor can make the story much more readable. I think Khaled Hosseini deserves full marks in this for his first novel "The Kite Runner".

A Kite runner is one who chases the broken kites. In Afganisthan A Kite runner is considered as a real hero. In this novel two main incidents occur during kite flying. Besides beautiful nostalgic flash backs, this novel paints redemption, betrayal, terrorism and politics. It also describes how anarchism steels childhood from children.
